IMAGINE a peaceful ride across a private ranch, hiking through lush rainforest plus swimming at an 80-foot waterfall! This unique Kauai horseback adventure begins with 30 minutes on our gentle horses, soaking up breathtaking views of mountains, valleys and the ocean. Along the way, your guide will share ranch and cowboy history. After tying up the horses, you’ll hike up and down a short, steep trail with steps and rope handholds, winding through the jungle to a secluded waterfall. It’s all yours for an hour! Explore the falls and swim in the fern-lined pool; then enjoy a delicious picnic and relax. The hike back up is along a different trail, complete with a small rock climb, stream crossings and yet another incredible waterfall. Your adventure ends with a leisurely ride back across open pastures. A Kauai horseback adventure you’ll always remember!

GUIDES AND TACK:
All rides are led by trained professional guides certified in First Aid and CPR and equipped with cellular telephones and first aid kits. We provide western saddles only. Helmets are available upon request and are required for children ages 8-12.  

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING: Completely covered shoes that can get muddy (sneakers or hiking shoes). No Crocs or aqua shoes.
Long pants recommended
Wear a swimsuit under clothes or bring along for swimming
Towel and sunscreen
Hat and insect repellent

AGE/WEIGHT/HEIGHT/PHYSICAL CONDITION:
8 years or older, 250 lbs. maximum weight, 6’5” maximum height. No expectant mothers. In good physical condition; the hike is rated moderate and includes a small rock wall climb.

CHILDREN ON TOUR:
Children age 16 & 17 may tour without an adult. A parent must sign a liability waiver at check-in.
Children age 12 to 15 must be accompanied on tour by an adult who is at least 18 years old.
