Horseback Riding Lessons
Dating back to 1978, Princeville Ranch has offered horseback riding on our beautiful working cattle ranch. We now once again offer riding lessons for children and adults!
We follow a holistic approach to both teaching and riding, giving equal attention to rider enjoyment, horse health and training. Students learn spatial awareness, etiquette and safety. They also can learn grooming, tacking and un-tacking. We offer both Western and English riding.
Eileen Donohue heads up our riding program. She is a Veterinary Technician and a certified Riding Instructor who has worked with many masters of Natural Horsemanship. Her approach involves understanding the psyche of horses—how they think and react—to create willing equine partners who are happy in their work. Her method creates a respectful and cooperative relationship between riders and horses. Lessons will be conducted either by Eileen or an Assistant Instructor.
